Equal and reducing pipe tees for branch connections in oil and gas, plumbing and industrial piping systems.
Grade, size, pressure class and certification requirements are confirmed at enquiry. Mill test certificates are supplied with the material where applicable.
A tee creates a branch at right angles to the main run. An equal tee has all three outlets the same size; a reducing tee has a smaller branch, which avoids a separate reducer when tapping a header for a smaller line. Tees are the standard way to split flow to multiple consumers, add a bypass or provide a drain, vent or instrument connection.
Al Safsaaf supplies pipe tees in equal and reducing types, sourced from Tenaris and Nippon Steel, for oil and gas, plumbing and industrial piping applications.
Specify the run size and branch size, material and grade, end connection (butt weld, socket weld or threaded), schedule or pressure class and the dimensional standard. For butt-weld tees, confirm the schedule matches the header so the weld bevel lines up; for threaded tees, state the thread form. Where branch flow is a large share of the main flow, an equal tee with a downstream reducer may be preferred over a reducing tee.
