Flanges & Fittings
Short male-threaded pipe nipples for connecting fittings securely in plumbing, fire-protection and industrial piping.
Grade, size, pressure class and certification requirements are confirmed at enquiry. Mill test certificates are supplied with the material where applicable.
A nipple is a short length of pipe threaded at both ends, used to connect two female-threaded fittings or valves, or to extend a connection by a set distance. Close nipples are threaded over their full length; standard nipples have a plain centre for wrench grip; hex nipples carry a central hex. Barrel nipples in longer lengths bridge between equipment and the pipe run.
Al Safsaaf supplies pipe nipples from GCC approved suppliers for plumbing, fire protection and industrial piping, in both new installations and maintenance work.
Specify nominal size, overall length, thread form, material and grade, schedule or wall thickness and pattern (close, standard, hex or barrel). Nipple length is quoted end to end including threads, so check the engagement depth of the mating fittings when sizing. Confirm the finish required, black, galvanised or stainless, against the pipe specification for the system.
