Reducing pipe bushings that step a threaded connection down a size for plumbing and industrial piping modifications.
Grade, size, pressure class and certification requirements are confirmed at enquiry. Mill test certificates are supplied with the material where applicable.
A bushing is a short threaded adapter with a male outside thread and a smaller female inside thread. Screwed into a fitting or valve port, it reduces the connection size in one piece and in less length than a reducing coupling. Hex-head bushings take a wrench on the outside; flush bushings sit inside the port. They are common where instruments, drains and small branches tap into larger threaded fittings.
Al Safsaaf supplies pipe bushings from local Saudi suppliers for plumbing and industrial piping systems, system modifications and maintenance.
Specify the male and female sizes, thread form, material and grade, pattern (hex or flush) and pressure class. Because a bushing introduces a step inside the bore, avoid stacking several to make a large reduction; a single reducer or reducing tee gives a cleaner flow path. Check that the thread forms on the bushing and the mating parts are the same, as BSP and NPT threads will not seal together.
