Flanges & Fittings
Forged elbows, tees and couplings for high-pressure oil and gas, petrochemical and industrial piping where strength and leak-tightness are critical.
Grade, size, pressure class and certification requirements are confirmed at enquiry. Mill test certificates are supplied with the material where applicable.
Forged fittings are machined from solid forged bar or blanks rather than formed from pipe, which gives a dense grain structure and the heavy wall needed for high-pressure, small-bore service. They are supplied with socket-weld or threaded ends and rated by pressure class. Typical duties include instrument take-offs, chemical injection points, drains and vents, and auxiliary piping around pumps and compressors.
Al Safsaaf supplies forged fittings, including elbows, tees and couplings, sourced from Tenaris and Crane, for oil and gas, petrochemical and industrial piping projects.
Specify the fitting type, nominal size, end connection (socket weld or threaded with thread form), pressure class, material and grade, the dimensional standard and any sour-service or impact-test requirement. Forged fittings and the pipe they join should be rated together: the fitting class is chosen to equal or exceed the pipe schedule, and a material test certificate is normally requested for hydrocarbon service.
